The AFW2025 Volunteer Manager will be in touch with successful applicants on Monday 28th April with a link to the official roster.
Please respond to this email either with your acceptance to volunteer, or a withdrawal of your application by Thursday 1 May.
Your position will NOT be secured until you accept the volunteer invitation, and the allocated roster.
Once accepted, you’ll receive the AFW2025 Volunteer Handbook and additional information regarding the event.
1. You must be over the age of 18 to volunteer.
2. To be considered, you must be available to volunteer at least two (2) days during the event dates – the more availability you have, the stronger your application.
3. We have two volunteer positions:
FOH (Front of House) - This involves assisting with guest seating, PR, photography/videography, décor, set design and gift bag preparation.
BOH (Back of House) - This may include model prep (dressing/styling), garment steaming and general BOH assistance.
4. We’ll email you a week before applications close on Friday 11 April to confirm your availability. You can log in and adjust your availability on your application form anytime until applications close on Friday 18 April 2025.
5. To give all applicants the same opportunity to apply, no volunteers will be rostered before the first roster is released on Monday 28 April 2025.
6. Please note: Times listed in applications are to gauge your availability only. Specific roster times will be confirmed as the event schedule is confirmed.
7. Please double check the spelling of your email address – we’re unable to send your roster without this.
8. You are responsible for covering your own travel, meals and expenses.
9. You’ll receive the AFW2025 Volunteer Handbook with your final confirmed roster.
10. By applying to volunteer, you acknowledge that all information and materials related to Australian Fashion Council (AFC) and AFW2025 (written or verbal) are confidential. You agree that you will not make any statements, posts or comments that include confidential information.

International Delegate Program – Expression of Interest
We are seeking volunteer applicants for our International Delegate Program, an exclusive opportunity for a select group of volunteers to contribute as official hosts for international delegates attending Australian Fashion Week.
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be available in Sydney from 12 – 16 May 2025
Must have excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
Must demonstrate strong communication, professionalism, and adaptability
